I was really pleased to receive news that I have won two awards at this year’s International Color Awards, which took place in Los Angeles, USA on Saturday, 9th March 2019.
One of my seascapes, Equilibrium V, received an Honourable Mention in the (Pro) Architecture category and Calla Lily II received a Nomination in the (Pro) Still Life category.
The judges for the event included experts from Sotheby's, New York; The Art Channel, London; Preus Museum of Photography, Norway; Art Beatus Gallery, Hong Kong; and global creative collective Forsman & Bodenfors, among others.
"It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 7,241 entries we received this year," said Basil O'Brien, the awards Creative Director. "Paul Coghlin's Equilibrium V and Calla Lily II are exceptional images and represent contemporary colour photography at its finest, and we're pleased to present him with an Honourable Mention and Nomination respectively."
The International Color Awards is one of the leading international photography competitions - thank you to the judges!
