Chroma I

The flowers for the Chroma I series are chosen for their exquisite detail, delicate colour and natural symmetry. Paul explores texture throughout much of his work and the fine detail he captures is a recognised component of his photographic style. See complete Chroma I series.

Chroma II

While Chroma I was a study of lightness and delicacy, Chroma II has been influenced by the vibrancy of the Pop Art movement, with the punchy colours conveying a strong sense of energy and movement. See complete Chroma II series.

The Bloom botanic series is a study of floral form, structure and detail in a minimalist setting. The juxtaposition of the sculptural form against the simplicity of the composition draws attention to the elegance and painterly quality of each flower. See complete Bloom series.

The Botanic floral series was partly inspired by the art movements of the 1920s and 30s and each image has a contemporary-classic feel, with some of the flowers seeming almost balletic in their formation. See complete Botanic series.

Petalum is Paul's original floral series. The series is a study of form and shape, light and shade, creating a sculptural quality, as though each flower has been carved from stone. See complete Petalum series.
