Suffolk artist Maggi Hambling’s Scallop sits on Aldeburgh beach on the Suffolk coast. It was made in 2003 to commemorate composer Benjamin Britten who lived and worked in the county.

Carved into it, is a quote from Britten’s opera Peter Grimes, which he wrote in 1945. It reads: ‘I hear those voices that will not be drowned’.

This Limited Edition photographic print is made using archival pigment inks and archival fine-art paper. It is signed and numbered by Paul Coghlin on the front, and supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
