International Color Awards
Thank you to the judges of the 14th International Color Awards for awarding my image second place in the Wildlife category. “He Turned His Back” is a portrait of a bald-headed eagle from my Raptor series.
I felt that the image was almost a symbolic gesture on the part of the eagle, suggesting his attitude of turning his back to us was speaking on behalf of the rest of Nature, against us humans and all the damage we are doing to the world.
